Common Core in the science classroom is all about being able to read expository articles and other texts such as data tables and use the evidence from the readings to support their answers. Students are able to read the information about the solar system and the data tables of the key characteristics. They then have to analyze, organize, and find patterns in the information to answer some high-level Depth of Knowledge questions.
